I just want to render my model with readily available Photoworks to see if it presents better.
I selected faces then MB>Photoworks>Render selection.
Not all selected faces were rendered.
What am I overlooking?
The Photoview preview window enables me to show how Photoview renders the one model differently to Realview.
Can you explain why the lower level roof is black in Photoview and Sand in Realview?
Why does Photoview show the top strake of the long wall in a lighter shade of green, when Realview has the whole wall in one shade of green? The appearance property managers show the same custom color for each strake.
What version of solidworks are you on? I am guessing it is something to do with shadows.
I added a downlight which "threw light" on an underlying problem; a whole block of Render Manager components are not being rendered in Photoview. These are the copies of seed part Kliplok3623, except for #3 which somehow got split from its siblings. It is not split in the Feature Manager.
I don't understand why the block is not being rendered, or how to get #3 back with its siblings.
I agree with Greg. Looks like the light source is square to the right side casting shadows on all other surfaces.
I would set up a camera and pick a normal scene then adjust the enviornment lighting rotation angle to your satisfaction.
