I cannot find C# addin templates in Visual Studio 2012. Is this a new issue with the new version of VS?
Just extract your 'SolidWorks API SDK.msi' file with any zip-extractors like free 7-zip. And in the extracted folder you may find the swcsharpaddin.zip. Just copy it and do not unzip (follow previous threads).

See these topics. Just copy the template file to the templates location of your visual studio and it will appear there.

Thanks for the response. I've run into a problem applying the solution mentioned in the threads you provided. I cannot find swcsharpaddin.zip anywhere. I've found a swcsharpaddin folder (unpacked) and moved the contents to the project template folder but no luck. The folder contains c# classes and a text file. Do you know where I can find the zip file? The only zip file I find is the apisdk I saved off the solidworks download site. I feel like this is a dumb question, but I'm at my wit's end. Any pointers would be appreciated.
