Why is it that when I try to convert my 2012 drawings to 2013 it gives me an error message that says "Failed to Obtain a valid license for Solidworks Task Scheduler"
Are you running a network license of SolidWorks. If yes then borrow a license and then try again.
No, it's a standalone.
Is your SW version Professional or Premium as you would need either of these to run task in TS.
Actually the Convert Files part of the TS is accessible for Standard users. I called my Solidworks Rep and they said that there is a known bug out there that is interfering with Solidworks Standard subscribers using the Convert Files option and that they are currently working on a workaround.
You may want to try this macro: Zoom and Rebuild
Also read the solution from Jason if that works: https://forum.solidworks.com/message/171964#171964
I had the same problem with 2013, as you said it must be a bug for SolidWorks Standard users, I updated to SolidWorks Professional last week and since then the task manager worked correctly.
I have the same Problem. ----no license found ----- but i dont want upgrade to the prof. Version --- who pay it? ----what can i do????
I hope SW found a solution for this problem ---- i have more than 3000 Files to convert!!!
