Thanks for the posts. Actually we solved this with basic natural frequency module, from simulation profesisonal itself. Q-Customer wants to tune the horn frequency to 20 to 30 Khz. A - We ran a frequency study with all the necessity boundary conditions and the only tweak was to view the resonant frequency, which corresponds to the vibrating direction (i.e) vertical displacement. [Z direc in my case]. Ultrasonic welding - case solved... . And by the way we could able to see Node and Anti node too..
Thanks for the reply. I already checked those conversations but, i couldnt find any information about design of horn. I want to know what tunning of horn means???..One of our client...made a statement that he tunes the horn to 20Khz by changing the shape and dimensions.(resonant frequency).I need to somehow automate this process using design study. ..

Can simulation able to calculate node and antinode of a ultrasonic vibraiton inside a horn model??
I haven't actually tried it, but I can't imagine that it would not be able to solve for the mode shapes.
