hey guys,

I'm working on a project which involves welding solid bodies. My question is, whether checking or unchecking "merge results" and then adding bead welds make any difference when a simulation is run. If not, How can i simulate welds (without using sketches) when working on solid bodies to get more accurate results?. I know I can also add  welds under simulation>connections>welds but as far as I know it only works for sheet metal bodies and not for regular solid bodies. Any ideas on which is the best way to simulate welds in solid bodies?
