    Exporting files

    Oeyvind Groedal

      Hope you can help me.

How is it best to save SW-files to use for common download on webpage?

Is it possible to save them as a PART and yet contain configurations?

We stock camera stations, and one of them is shown below. Want to create separate files for download, but also limit the details for the protection of the structure.

So the choice is between the model up as a PART, or convert to PART from an ASSEMBLY (I assume complete Assembly is not the best way). And we do not want to have a large format, and will protect the structure against copying. It has also been the desire to have configurations to view usage and set in to the right use.

      Any suggestions?

      Thanks in advance.

Saving assembly as Part will not create configurations and you'll have to create separate file for each config in the assembly. So best way would be to model the files as part having multi configuration with with outer shapes/details and required features (like mounting holes)
