How do I do this correctly? I need this edge flange to be perfect. This is a SS countertop and will not be welded. If I send this part to the floor as is I think it will rip at corners more than likely. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
To get a tighter corner follow the images below.
Software: In order for the edges to touch the radius will have to equal the thickness.
Design: Depending on the material and process radius=thickness could damage it. Would it be out of the question to put tabs on it?
Material is 16 GA (.0598) 304 SS with bend radius of .060"
What do you mean exactly by tabs?
By tabs I mean that instead of cutting out a square on the corner, leave a piece that gets folded under the corner.
