INDUSTRIAL / GRAPHIC DESIGNER for Testrite and Creo by Testrite - GREAT SALARY, BONUS AND FULL BENEFITS

2 year of Solidworks experience or the equivalent.
Testrite Visual is seeking an Industrial / Graphic Designer to join our growing team. The candidate will join our group of exhibit and trade show hardware design professionals to assist in a wide range of Industrial and Graphic Design responsibilities.

Creates exhibit booth assemblies & assembly instructions using both product knowledge, good communication skills and part & component images for custom trade show and exhibit booth structures. Works closely with engineering and manufacturing departments.
Creates custom exhibit and trade show booths, structures and assemblies using existing parts libraries and applying graphic and logo signage and treatments. Works with sales to develop display hardware and exhibit booth drawings for clients.
Develops product drawings and assemblies of exhibit and tradeshow booths and component parts such as bases, uprights, shelves and other components.

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

CAD
Strong in computer aided industrial design tools, CAD surfacing, rendering, and graphics.
Proficiency in 3-D applications. 2 years of Solidworks experience.  Modeling, assembly and drawings concentration. Rhino experience a plus. Sketching, rendering, modeling.
A bachelor's degree in a related area and/or 3-5 years of experience in the field is required.

ILLUSTRATION and PRESENTATION - 3-5 years Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

GENERAL
Good visual, verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with standard factory manufacturing processes, concepts, practices, and procedures preferred. A good understanding of metal fabrication is helpful.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision and a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
