This is for parts such as glue and other parts not shown in the model but required on the BOM.

I can add a part to an assembly and save it internally with a part number which will appear in a BOM that I can use on the drawing.

I can also manually alter the quantity in the BOM in the drawing that updates, I can quantify this by using a split balloon, or selecting to display quantity in the balloon properties.

I can also make the a balloon appear if I choose to auto balloon the assembly, I assume it picks up from where the new part is attached in the assembly when created.

What I want to do is be able to somehow select the part on its own to apply a balloon, such as I would if I modified an existing assembly.

It would also be good to have not only the Balloon type set within the template but also the quantity shown, a work rounfd at the moment is to select all and apply a saved style.
