I would like To Know How Can I Work Out an Impact Test In solid Works???.. Can Anyone help Out
Hi Rohit; I assume you mean how to set it up? It asks for either 1) impact velocity, or 2) height above the ground. Another setup parameter is to choose a direction for impact, a direction for gravity, and how many microseconds to integrate post impact (I believe it defaults to 25 microseconds). Warning: the saving of results at time steps can cause a HUGE amount of data to be written to disk, so there is an option to limit the output (such as every other step, for example). Hope that helps. - Tony
