Hello;

        I have a situation, where I created a sweep to build strength in a part, but the sweep goes through to the inner chamber, so I need to cut that excess out.

I done a little research, & was wondering how i might go about, creating a surface from the solid thats there, but keep the solid also. Then I could possible use

the surface to cut out the extra sweep. It's a bit complex, so that's why I like to just use whats there for a surface cut.

       So, what's the best way, to create a surface from portions of a solid, keep the solid, & then cut away the excess sweep portion?

Thanks in advance for any input;
