This morning when I tried to start-up SW (2013 SP0), I got a message that read 'This limited life version of Solidworks has expired'. There is no option but to close it. Tried opening the download manager, but it couldn't find the files? Was running fine, then one day I couldn't use the toolbox, and now I can't even open the download manager. Do I need to erase and re-install all over again? SW12 is still running fine, but can't open up files I've edited in 13.
No. Fully licensed, and yes, I activated it. No option to activate. No option at all, other than to close it after that message is displayed.
That sounds to me like a message you would get if you had a limited time trial version. You might need to contact your VAR.
Very odd. Definitely one for your SolidWorks reseller to help you with.
It seems like the SolidWorks activation server may have had bad info and only activated your software for a limited amount of time. Your reseller should be able to help you get that sorted.

Fixed. Had to uninstall and reinstall.
Do you have a trial version? Or did you not activate your SW2013 version?
Does SW2013 give you an opportunity to activate the software?
