We are making a 17 ft chute that must rotate 90 degrees. We could make one out of rods, but I wanted to find out if any of you have had a similiar project in the past and how you tackled it (using sheet metal). We thought about making the base out of two rotated 45 deg, with rods for the walls (the attached file has sheet walls, but I figure that only makes things more difficult). I have attached some a couple of quick files so you can have a better idea of what I am talking about. Lastly, my boss likes to "show off" what we CAN do, so I am looking for any way to make a rotating, sheet metal chute. Thanks!
