    Python with SolidWorks

      Hi all,

      Is anyone using Python with SolidWorks? I'd really like to make contact and learn how you are set up to work with the API.

      I've tried using PythonWin, and running the makepy command on the SolidWorks Type Library, however when I try using the generated module SolidWorks still reports as a standard COM object:

      >>> from win32com.client import gencache

      >>> sldmod = gencache.EnsureModule('{83A33D31-27C5-11CE-BFD4-00400513BB57}', 0, 20, 0)

      >>> import win32com.client

      >>> sw = win32com.client.Dispatch('SldWorks.Application')

      >>> sw

      <COMObject SldWorks.Application>

      I've seen old posts from 2003, but surely someone has solved this by now?
