Hi,
Any ideas on how to rectify a problem (on quite a complex assembly which will take a few hours to re-assemble and fully mate) where the 'Normal To' icon results in a crazy angle, no matter what face or plane is selected?
Also, at the same time this happened, the program decided that the initial (fixed) component in the assembly no longer was fixed, but another one was - so now I have to move the entire assembly around the component that is supposed to freely move... There is a big dent in my solid wooden desk just in front of my keyboard because of this.
Any help would be much appreciated.
John
John,
Did you work this out on your own by now?
You can easily change which component or components are "fixed" in an assembly and which are "floating". Just right click on a component in the tree. If it is fixed, then click on the command "Float". If it is floating, click on the command "Fix".
