I am trying to create a gear part for a machine that consists of two gears cut from one piece of stock.  The problem is that toolbox (from my limited knowledge) will only allow me to insert one gear per *.sldprt file.  In order to create the below part, I need to insert two gears from toolbox into ONE *.sldprt file so that I have one part, one part number and one file for that part.  Is there any way to do this?  I created the below image by mating two different gears I created but I would rather it be one part instead of an assembly.  Is there a way to do what I am trying to do?  Thank you for your time.
