Anybody figured out how to get this to work? I can't seem to select anything to set up a study. Maybe I am missing a first step or something. I tried the help file and no joy. Anyone?
You need to register a dll to have it work in SP 0.0.
Check solution S-060732.
Thanks. It has another issue though with the compuational comain always wanting to revert to the default domain size. I hear that one is address inthe next SP.
Also be careful with units. We're noticing some dimensions always go or come out as m regardless of the settings for your solidworks template's units or your flow simulation project's units. The issues are reported but I don't think that I've seen any SPR fix notifications.
With respect to the comp domain, I'm seeing 2013 asking to update the comp domain and reset the mesh quite often and unexpectantly (no model changes) and not specific to parametric studies. (Not reported because it hasn't been reproduced/confirmed yet)
With parametric studies the only thing that we've seen on comp domain is it not updating the comp domain when we would have expected it to. For example if the geometry has grown beyond the original size. This may be expected though. (Reported and I think was enhancement request)
The other thing we've seen is that with parametric study the option to remesh isn't checked for the studies, so if the geometry changes or the mesh settings change the geometry being meshed might not be updated before running the parameter study.
Hi, I have the same problem, I can't select anything to set up the study, but it happens only in the 64 bits version in the 32 bits I already can.
I don't find the solution S-060732.
Can anyone help me?
what version/service pack are you using?
the solution id can be looked up in the solidworks customer portal kb customerportal.solidworks.com
Thanks very much.
I'm using service pack SP0.0, that matters?
as per the post above, there was an issue in sp0.0 that requires a fix to make it work properly. See above.
can you provide us with the solution i don't have access what is the dll needed?? please
hi medo, the KB is reserved for customers on subscription. your VAR may be able to provide you the information to get you up and running.
