I'm studying the effect of electrically generated heat power on connectors from battery packs, and am new to the simulation software.
I was wondering if anyone could explain the results I am getting...
After applying an initial temperature of 293K to all faces, then applying a Heat Power to one of the faces, and running a transient analysis for 15 seconds, the temperatures across the connector that I am getting out are quoted as 9.503e1 K - obviously not actually correct - my only thought was that they could be temperature gain? As in final temp is 95K above the initial 293K... is this correct?
Any help/advice with setting up boundary conditions for this type of thermal analysis would be greatly appreciated.
