2013 Measurement Tool

So, overall I think that the measurement tool has included some cool new features.

One feature that is bothering me however is this:

Hopefully you can see that. There is a drop down menu that pops up when measuring between cylinders and such, but it pops up right in front of the damn measurement! Granted I can see it on the measurement box to the left, but it's not very convenient. Has anyone had this same problem? Can I change it?

The resolution seemed pretty horrible after I posted, so I uploaded the image for you to see if you wish.

Works OK for me. Try reinstalling SW2013 SP 0.

  Try changing the precision and size to match (or exceed) that shown by Mike. Maybe the value field length is limited to a max number of characters.
  I don't have SW13 installed yet so cannot test for myself.

      Mike,
      What are your computer specs? In particular, which graphics card & driver?
      Have you tried running a repair of SW, or resetting the registry?
      Did you perform a clean install of SW13?

        I haven't tried anything yet. I wasn't sure if it was local to my computer yet.
        
        The computer is a laptop, Dell Precision m4600.
        NVIDIA Quadro 2000M is the graphics card. I'm in the process of updating the driver.
        
        My next step will be to repair SW / reset the registry if you think that could help.

        It shouldn't hurt ... but be aware that any customization you have made will be lost.

        Its not local to your computer only, I have the same problem on a Dell M6700 with a Nvidia Quadro K4000M. I haven't found a solution yet, have you had any luck sorting it out?

        Hi Mike,
        Your font looks big... were you using a larger system font (RMB on Desktop - Personalize - Display)? It looks like the bigger font of the dimension value wasn't being considered when placing the location of the drop-down box which is causing it to overlap.

        I tried your suggestion and it fixed the problem. Thanks! My setting (within Windows 7 OS) for system font was at "medium", I changed to "small", had to log off and back on to make changes take effect and that did the trick. The font witin SW doesnt appear to be any smaller than I remember, but the box no longer overlaps the first digit of the center-to-center measurment value.
