I want to install Solidworks Network License manager on Linux (Centos). Solidwork will work in Windows but License manager will run on Linux. Can somebody send me the procedure for installing License Manager in Linux?
I don't have the answer for you, but I believe a tip might be in order
Asking for installation instructions on a specific version of Linux (other than the main flavours such as Red had / Ubuntu) might not get you any results.
If you are not familiar with installations on Linux, have a look at the Wine program for linux which assists Windows programs to install on Linux. This program should come with Centos.
The main thing you'll want to do is to research Wine on Linux, then make sure that port 25734 is open on the box on which the software is installed
The Solidworks Installation Manager appears on only run under Windows Server 2012 or newer. It does not seem to be as simple as installing a text based license file as with other FLEXLM implementations. You should contact your distributor to see if there is a workaround.
