How about the performance when you saw SolidWorks on Samsung Table at that time ?
Its looking more and more like reality every day
This thing this has an i7, though only a baby one, but give it 6 mnts
Would love to hear from someone how has used SW on a touch, and what it feels like to use,
this would (might) be great for visiting clients \ on the road use..
I would say you need a pen. It's quite painful without, GUI is not just designed for "big fingers" (both, Win7 and SW). I tried SW12 with this one: http://www.zoostorm.com/Products/93-zoostorm-sl8-3310-9500-tablet-pc.aspx and otherwise it works pretty well, but drawing sketch for example...you must have pen. Win8 is of course better, but doesn't change anything SW related problems.
I have the samsung slate 7 (windows 7, 64bit, 4gb ram, 128gb hd) i run SW on it. The only things i dont really like are the "lag" in the BT keyboard.
I have not upgraded to win 8 yet so i couldnt tell you how that preforms.
I dont use it as a daily computer to use SW full time so i couldnt tell how it would be that way, but as the once in a while computer at home to use it it works great.
Now once SW will work with a wacom tablet then that would be nice... (unless 2013 does im a little behind)
