There is no direct way. The only option might be to make a STL out this edrawing (one need to keep this option while saving SW part/assembly as e-drawing). Then importing it via Scan to 3D or a third party software (meshlab) and then create the drawing.
I would be interested to know that if your colleague already has all the file then what he/she is unable to do and sent your way to do that. In case you've to work on it, can you ask him/her to send you the SolidWorks files itself.

I will ask my colleague if they have it a usual solidworks format.
I dont have the software to do all the things discussed above and so I will just have to wait until he can send me a normal solidworks formtat file such as part/xt or IGS file.
