Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how I could "Extrude Cut" (remove material) from a curved surface.

To help elaborate, I took some pictures. See here: http://imgur.com/a/Mzp78

The first image is self-explanatory. It's the profile view of a curved rectangular panel.

The second image shows a sketch that has been projected onto the curved panel. Initially I was hoping I could "extrude cut" a specified depth into the panel.

But I have not been able to complete that action.

Notes:

I "Extruded Boss" the curved panel in 2 directions, using a geometric sketch of its cross section (see image 1).

I can "Extrude Cut" a groove in the panel using the same method, however I can't have curved corners as seen in image 2, which I would very much like to have.

My next step is to fillet the edges, but that shouldn't be difficult. Moreover, I'd like to stay away from splines or any method that is not easily repeatable (engineering perspective).

Thank you for your time.
