A Simple Sheet Metal Question - How would you build this part???

I've built a fair amount of sheet metal parts in the past but always struggled with one incredibly simply thing.  If anyone could give me a push in the right direction I could really use it.

Say for example you have the part shown below.  It's just a square tube, but an angled cut across the diagonal makes one corner lower than the other 3 corners.  If you wanted to make a simple sheet metal end cap, it would need a small bend (but you don't know the angle).  How do you make this part????

I've tried multiple ways of making the part.  I can do it successfully using an absurd number of extrudes and cuts and then converting to sheet metal in the last step.  If I try to do a second "base flange" and merge with the first "base flange" it won't merge even though they share a coincident edge.  The "edge flange" tool won't let me choose the edge I want to use.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
