I want to edit a feature and select I different sketch for the feature to use. What do I have to do to be able to select a different sketch? Do I have to edit the parent child settings or something? This seems like it should be a simple thing to do, maybe because I am used to Mastercam. In Mastercam you simply reselect the geometry you want to use and the solid updates to the new shape.

For discussion purposes, let’s use a simple shaft extrusion from 1 sketch with a tip shape driven from another sketch. Later I want to change the tip shape and the change I want to make cannot be done from the same sketch and plane. This is where I want to make a new sketch and have the existing tip feature use the new sketch I just created. If I cannot use a new sketch the way I want to, then how do you make the tip change in the above situation?
