Cant find toolbox components after installing AVG 2013

Question asked by Roger Faircloth on Sep 26, 2012

I'm running Solidworks premium SP04 on a stand alone computer.  I recently upgraded my anti-virus software to AVG Internet Security 2013.  Since then, whenever I open up assemblies it indicates that it is creating components that I have installed from the toolbox.  However, the components are not in the model and whenever you hover over the component name on the left it says that the component can't be found.  I can go back in and re-install every toolbox component and it works fine, but that is very time consuming.  I didn't have this problem before I upgraded to 2013 and the folks at AVG are less than no help.  All they want to blame it on is Solidworks.  I would be grateful for any ideas.
