I have a general table and I want to merge two adjacent cells. After I select them and RMB I do not get the 'merge' option and the Table Taskbar has the 'merge' icon greyed out, see attached. What am I doing wrong?
OK I found the answer - I have to 'click and drag' the two adjacent cells for the 'merge' command to be visible. It doesn't say that in the help files, just the following:
To merge or split adjacent cells:
Right-click and select Merge cells or Unmerge a cell
Expand the RMB menu to see the option or click customize on the RMB menu and make sure merge is selected.
Thanks for the quick reply but that's my problem, I do NOT have the merge command in the RMB menu. All options are already available but no 'merge' option. See attached.
The shift select cell work and give the option to merge but not crtl select
Thank you. That solved the problem.
Worked for me as well, thanks!
