Is this possible ?
Of course, this variable is an integer.
But it seems that it is not possible.
So, how can I make a part, looking like the gear of the tool box, but with involutes of circles in the teeth, and not circles ?
Tx for your infos.

Hi,
I am using the french norms, so I use module, not angular pitch (the 2 notions seem similar, yet).
I need to drive the number of instances, if possible (then I can enter in one flight module, number of teeth, angle of pression, ....)
It might be difficult to believe that the SW standard library hasn't some involute of circles for the profiles of the teeth for a gear, and just circles, but I am really not amazed with anything now, with the SW tools.
Hi,
Impossible to reproduce the tip of this thread

Some "ANGLE@CirPattern1" in the equation list is quickly in red, in my file
It is possible. What do you need to drive? The number of instances or the angular pitch?
Can you post your file?
