Just as the title states: When I open a flow model created in version 2011 SP5.0 using 2012 SP4.0, and go to edit the definition a boundary condition such as Env Pressure, the Faces box is empty. If I change anything, it forces me to select the faces before it will save. If I don't change anything, the faces are shown correctly when I left-click on the BC name in the design tree, and the simulation runs fine. Does anyone know of a fix or workaround?
unfortunately this is a known issue with 2012 SP4.0.
even if your file was brand new in 2012, if you edit the definition of an input, the faces will be lost.
I believe that I saw that it will be fixed with 2012 Sp5.0.
The only workaround is to X out of the edit definition command, that will keep your selections.
