Someone told me that there is a Certification for 3DVIA Composer. Can someone point me to where I can get information for this certification? I looked in the SW Certification site but did not see any information on 3DVIA.
AE means application engineer working with VARs.
Dry questions means the exam is multi choice questions only.
As far as I know, the Composer exam is available only to AEs. It is not something you would like, I can tell you that.
There are only very dry questions, no hands on challenges; nothing interesting, really. Dry, very dry! :(
Thanks for the information. When you say AEs, you mean CSWE? Not sure what you mean by dry questions.
AE = Applications Engineer = the support technicians/instructors/consultants working for VARs
Questions like "do you know how to use this little check box in this obscure menu in this little used workshop?"
By comparison a SolidWorks exam is a real pleasure. At least you get to use SolidWorks during CSWP tests.
I will agree it is pretty basic of a test, at least when I took it. Most of the test is straight from the training manual. As most of us know, the training manual is usually a reference of where to start. None of the more advanced features are looked at in any real depth.
Just out: http://www.3dmojo.com/2013/04/11/3dvia-composer-v6r2013x-certification-exam/
I'd like to do the certification, http://www.3ds.com/training/how-to-get-certified/v6-certification/
but I want to take the 20-hour training course for Composer first. Scheduling makes the classroom course difficult, and they have to wait for the class to fill. Seems I'm the only one waiting for it, so it probably won't fill anytime soon. The 3DS website lists the Composer course available as online E-Learning.
Has anyone done it that way or know anything about how to get enrolled online? It doesn't seem to be on option through the reseller here.
