Job Title: Marketing Specialist - Campaign Management & Event Planning


The role of full-time Marketing Specialist at CADD Edge provides the opportunity for an ambitious marketing communications professional to expand a variety of business and project management skills. Responsibilities will include oversight of the company’s marketing calendar ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and execution of direct and email promotional campaigns as well as on- and off-line customer events. S/he will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date sales kits, website and social media channels, and lead generation reports. The right individual for this position will be highly motivated and organized, eager to learn, technically-savvy, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. The Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Marketing and will interact often with other team members including our Information Systems Specialist as well as Sales Managers and Field Reps.


Primary and Essential Accountabilities:

  • Develop, manage, and communicate project timelines as well as deliverable deadlines for multiple marketing campaigns to support sales efforts for various products in parallel
  • Solicit, collect, and distill feedback from cross-functional teams to determine proper segmentation, targeting, and positioning in relation to sales and marketing promotions
  • Oversee production schedules and ensure quality standards are met for email marketing communications, marketing collateral for sales kits, and web/pr/social media updates
  • Track campaign results accurately and provide constituents with summary and detailed reports
  • Plan and manage execution of both virtual and in-person sales and training events including webinars and seminars as well as conference exhibitions and tradeshow participation
  • Run pre-flight tests of campaigns and other materials to identify any issues prior to launch
  • Become a power user of the company’s CMS, CRM, and other marketing automation systems
  • Collaborate with internal & external partners to drive successful go-to-market plans



  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (e.g., NetSuite, etc.)
  • Knowledge of online contact databases (e.g. Hoover’s, Jigsaw, etc.)
  • Able to edit/manage websites via a Content Management System (CMS, e.g. HubSpot, Wordpress, etc.) as well as social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of  Adobe apps: Acrobat Pro, Dreamweaver & Photoshop
  • Proven experience planning and running successful events and/or tradeshow exhibits


Desirable qualifications:

  • Holds a Bachelor (or Associate) Degree in Business, Communications, and/or Marketing
  • Has a 2-3 years of full-time work experience in a business-to-business, data-driven, sales organization (4-5 if no college degree)
  • Has 1-2 years of hands-on writing and editing blog, email, press release, and website content
  • Understands paid search advertising via Google Adwords and reporting via Google Analytics
  • Has worked in a B2B channel sales environment – either at an OEM or on the VAR side
  • Is proactive, self-sufficient, and has the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects
  • Pays close attention to detail and exhibits a high degree of professionalism
  • Has a positive attitude and presents well when communicating
  • Is a quick learner and easily adapts to change
