Thanks Anna from your model I found out why mine wasn't notching properly I have a bend allowance default instead of K factor I changed to K Factor .33 and it flat patterned correctly again thanks
Cool.... That is one thing I did not check. Although I do not see why it would not work with the proper BA or BD's input for the bends.

It does for the exercise I went back and put the correct BA in on all folds not a problem when I did the model I didnt think of ba also

Agreed, the bend allowance is causing the issue here. I use K-Factors which work well. But I have no idea which processes/machines you're using. Best to talk to your production engineers.
In actual fact production will be making this part out of 25x25x3 mild steel angle but you can not form angle to this shape and flatten for notching so I have to fold 3mm flat so I can show the notching on drg,not preffered unless someone knows how to do this part in 3mm angle
