Rhino to Solidworks plugin?

I went onto an intersting plugin developed by Mcneel (producers of Rhino):

Plugin is called: "Rhino to SolidWorks - Addon for SolidWorks" it's free and enables importing the Rhino's .3dm files into Solidworks 7 or 8.

I was wondering if this plugin has been already included in the newest versions of Solidworks?

If that is so, than this plugin is not necessary for usage in the newest version of Solidworks?

Or am I wrong?
