Basically I have created a weldment cutting list for a part, and I have tried to label the parts with balloons.

The auto balloon works fine and all of the arrows point to the corrct weld.

however, as there are many parts some of the arrows overlap making it hard to see which arrows point to where when the drawing is printed, so I have tried to move the arrows onto the face of the weldment where normally I would expect the arrow to turn into a dot and retain its link.

But for some reason the arrows remain and a question mark appears in the balloon and however I move it to try and regain the link, even if I try to connect it to the edge it was connected to before it wont link.

Any ideas as to how to get the link back or will it be a case of having to redo the whole drawing again and trying again?
