hey...dear! i wanna make a mold of a gas turbine blade and i'm facing a problem here is that when i complete the flex twist and flex bend command and apply the parting line command the crazy split line coming out on the faces...yoy see in the picture.i have done max the flex accuracy but i'm still facing this problem.....please hlp me.
thanks for it...but there is a new Q from my side is that does all turbine blade are made without flex command or here a way to clear wave/wrinkle formed by flex.

Most people don't trust Flex for critical geometry. They usually only use it for items like showing a living hinge part in the folded position, or a sheet metal part that requires drawing the metal, or sometimes for making a part that can't be built using "normal" SolidWorks tools. In the case of showing a drawn sheet metal part, it is quite clear that the part made with Flex is not geometrically correct, so people assume that it is quite likely incorrect on other parts.
Most people who design turbine blades are very concerned about getting the geometry exactly correct, so they build the blade with the correct twist, rather than building it "straight" and then twisting it with Flex.

you means flex tool is not a perfect tool to make changes in geometry...and if i want to make such type of geometry i have to use normal solidworks tool like loft,sweep! am i right?
The most common method used by the engineers I know, is to create sketches of the cross-sections of the turbine blade and then loft through the sections. This give them the control needed to create an accurate turbine blade.
oh...this can be a long way to make a turbine blade....another way do you know about it???

Flexing a part frequently results in bad surface geometry such as waves, wrinkles, etc. This is most likely why you are having the problem with the split, you created a wave/wrinkle in the part by forming it with the flex command. If you create the part as a sweep, loft, etc., you will most likely not have problems with waves/wrinkles in your surfaces.
