If you don't have the answer, then you should not select one of the responses as being correct. I think you can change your mind and remove the selection.
Analyzing the cutting process is very difficult. It requires a lot of highly specialized tools. I doubt that SolidWorks Simulation can do it.
Well, Jerry I really think I agree with you. How about a no penetration contact between two bodies being driven apart at their shared boundary by a wedge shape? Their boundary face pair would not only have a no penetration condition, but also have some way of resisting the wedge shape driving them apart. One possibility is to apply a force gradient pressing the face pair together.
