Does anyone have experience creating patent drawings and illustrations with SolidWorks?  I believe the US patent office has relaxed some of the 200 year old pencil and velum drafting requirements so CAD generated drawings are acceptable at some level.

It seems insane to me to try to make a CAD drawing look like it was drawn by hand just to meet outdated standards.  Old style text fonts, notations, shading, section views, labels, etc. are almost impossible to create efficiently with the latest CAD programs.

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
