    Document Recovery

    Christopher Estelow

      I have two questions.

      1)  Is there supposed to be a document recovery tab in the task pane when SolidWorks 2012 starts up?  If so how do I turn it on?

      2) If you were working on a model, but didn't save it as anything yet, and SolidWorks crashes is there a recovery/backup saved anywhere?

The reason I ask is that my SolidWorks has been crashing an awful lot lately (5-10 times a day) and I have had to start from scratch many times.  I know I should probably be saving the file right away so there will be backups created in case anything happens.  The crashes seem to happen if I minimize SolidWorks and then go back to it.  I'm guessing it has something to do with Windows 7.
