As far as my German goes I think it's a better translation if one alters the sentence in English to :
How to change the cable diameter once the start point has already been set? (nachher ~ afterwards)
I don't use electrical myself but seeing as that it should be similiar to the piping sub-module I think it's safe to say that one, according to SW, shouldn't do that but instead make a new one.
The one way that a collegue has found that seems to work is by doing the following :
1/ in the feature manager right mouse click on the CPoint of the pipe you want to change and do an "edit feature"
2/ in the FM under the section Parameters you can select the pipe you want, as in change the Ø
3/ end the edit feature and do an edit route, this should rebuild the route with the Ø that you selected
4/ diameter is changed
The second question :
Why is the change diameter tool greyed out (= inactive) ?
That most likey will be because you can only use it when a line segment is selected of a route while editing a route sketch.
It is NOT meant to be used to change the diameter from an existing line from start point to end.
