Hi everyone, I am having the exact same problem Isaac Gonzalez was having a few threads down. Basically the orientation views are at odd angles for reasons unkown to me so when i try to create pictures they come out sideways or with a plane cutting straight through the image. I am including the pack n go zip. I tried following the instructions but it will not allow me to use the float feature. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
This is a school assignment. The actual table assembly and the tray were given however when I loaded them in and began attaching my parts the table kinda blew apart like it hadnt been mated together, so I went through and mated it together with parallel mates and locks. I don't think it was intentional for the planes to be weird but I could be wrong in that respect. Is there any mildy simplistic way to fix these planes?
Can you post the original model you received before it blew apart?
Also, what exactly is the assignment you are tasked to do? Post your assignment sheet.
We will not do your homework for you, but may be able to give you some hints on technique if we understand what you are starting with and what your assignment actually is.

I'll upload the initial workbench. The assignment is our final design project. We were given the workbench, tray, and widgets and we were to design a mechanical system that could position a camera over each individual widget. My design is complete and seems fine as far as the project goes its just creating the images for the report that's throwing me because of the planes.
The entire assembly was not designed to align with the main assembly planes.
Where did this assembly come from? Is the assignment at school to take an existing assembly and detail it?
The mis-alignment may be on purpose so you will learn how to create views to data that is skewed from the main planes.
