Hello everyone,
A plotter is in the future for us, but right now I have to conventional print on 8.5x11. I use scale to fit, and the only annoyance I have is an excessive margin; no matter the changes I make under Print - System Options - Margins, the print turns out the same every time, even when I click yes or no for the margin correction warning about a clipped image. Some past discussions say it may be the printer's fault (because I am not using a plotter, or inherent printer properties?) or that I need a macro (I don't know the first thing about macros ), so I hope someone can help me clarify things.
When looking at a landscape sheet, the lefthand side is perfect (ink is about .05in from the edge), but the righthand, top, and bottom sides have 0.5in, 0.75in, and 0.75in, respectively, more of a margin than the lefthand side. I realize some margin is to be expected, but it would be nice to waste as little space as possible. Can I make it less than what I currently have? I use SW 2012 SP4.
