Do any 1 DoF (Degree of Freedom) constraints exist to lock down a revolute joint without redundancies other than point-to-plane and angle mate?
In a (sub)assembly, numerous revolute joints are made using axis-axis mates and point to plane mates, which remove 4+1 constraints. This allows motion anaylsis using the model. I then have a folder in which mates go to lock the mechanism down for drawings. In this case I don't have an obvious robust point-plane mate and am wary of angle mates using typical 0-90-180 angles that might flip under future use. I'm wondering if I'm missing a good (simple) option
