I import a series of XYZ points, convert them to sketches and then form boundary surfaces between them. The attached figure explains it better. What is the tolerance on the boundary surfacing? The sketch and the boundary of the boundary surface don't seem to match up visually. The continuous smooth curve in the second picture is the sketch while the more edgy curve is the boundary of the newly created boundary surface. I export this CAD model as an IGES file later and use for CFD meshing. It seems to be alright when I extrude this surface with an initial spacing of 5e-4m. However when I start to extrude at 1e-5m, I see squiggly lines. My hypothesis is that this is somehow related to the tolerances on the boundary surface. Where is it set and how can I control it?
