Am trying to model for the first time a compression spring with closed and ground ends. Am using the variable pitch helix spiral to create the spring. My ends are not turning out right,so I am doing something wrong and need help

total coils 7.867

installed length 0.6269

wire diam 0.060

ends closed and ground

Free length 0.9

Free length pitch 0.13330

I need help with generating the helix only. Can shave the ends off to make them flat.

Have found no tutorials that shows how to create the spring in question and am at a loss. Is there a better way to model?

Can someone help me with this. My new job requires me to model a lot of springs
