When working in a assembly, which has parts with multiple configurations. If the parts are not set to the configuration in which it was saved as (example default).

Solidworks says "XXXX.sldasm needs updating. It has not been rebuilt successfully since the last feature change or an externally referenced model has changed.

Rebuild now?" If the parts are set to the last configuration set (default) the dialog box does not come up.

The is also causing the SmarTeam to prompt me to check-out as it think Solidworks has made a change to these parts.

Is there somewhere I can tell Solidwork not to do this? It is slow down my Solidworks file opening time extremely.

Thanks

Dave
