Hi Everyone,

Our good friend Wayne Tiffany underwent surgery for cancer last week.  Wayne is recovering in the hospital, and will be there for a few more days.  Wayne will have a long road to recovery, and I hope that all of you will keep him in your thoughts.

Wayne has touched a lot of lives in the SolidWorks Community, freely sharing knowledge, participating in these forums, and running the Kansas City SolidWorks User Group.  He's been a SWUGN representative, and regular presenter at SolidWorks World.  Wayne was also the first recipient of the Michelle Pillers Community award in 2011.

One of my favorite stories to share is from a SWUGN Summit event in San Diego some years ago.  Wayne was there to give a sheet metal session, and when someone told him afterward that they wished they could have seen it, he promptly set up his computer in the hallway and did the session again - after the event was over.
