Has anyone experienced any issues installing SW2012 while having MS-Lync already installed?
we have had constant issues with SW2012, and it looks like our tech support is going to say that we need to re-install the software for a 3rd time this year to fix the issues. there is serious debate about support and quality of SW here.
i dont have any fixes for you, sorry, but good luck.

Here are some of the issues we have been having;
Once we upgraded to SW12 our title blocks became corrupted and had to be remade - the sheet format from all of the older drawings would not load propperly- parts in our fastener library were replaced with unknown parts from the toolbox in large assembiles......
Once again - we re-installed the software and about half the issues were gone.
Currently, every time we open a part the description in the properties is deleted. We have to open the drawing, go back to the part, retype the description, go back to the drawing, save and save as a PDF, go back to the part, retype the description and re-save the part. If we save the part as a DXF the process needs to be done again. this doesn't always fix the problem.
We have now run the repair twice on each machine - with no change, our sales reps are unresponsive and the tech support recommends that we re-install the software - again.
If you have any advice, or similar issues let me know. At this point we are discussing the need of changing software.
