Thanks Rick. That is what I was doing before until I noticed the way a male connector tube fitting is set up. So I copied that. Basically its just like making a route fitting with two female ends. The end that would thread into another fitting gets a c point with that size pipe. Draw a pipe run out from the reciever fitting then remove pipe to make the contact. I originally thought of that but figured it would give me an error.

I've seen this problem too. If you're fitting the reducer directly to another fitting, you will simply mate the reducer to the fitting (create a mate reference in the reducer to make this a snap). You will want to do this BEFORE you route anything from the other fitting. Then, when you start you route you will start it from the reducer, not the fitting. To see how this works, open up the reducer that's provided with routing and see how the CP and RP are structured.

Has anyone used a reducer bushing in a threaded pipe route? I made a fitting but since it's male npt by female npt I'm not sure how or if I can make it a route fitting. I tried to mate it to the elbows I want it between but when I do the existing fittings seem to loose their connectivity and become separated from the pipe.

For now I will insert it and start another (sub) route but would like to make this part of the route.

Any help??
