Hi everyone.

I am in need of some advice on which is the best way to upgrade my system. Here's the lowdown.

Work pc, bought 2 1/2 years ago.

HP Z400 Workstation

Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU W3520 @ 2.67GHz [x86 Family 6 Model 26 Stepping 5] (8 processors)

NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800    R)        W 5  p @ U GHz [x86 Family 6 Model 26 Stepping 5] (8 processors)

3Gb ram  (I know, a bit lame, but it's what I have to work with)

I use the C drive for daily operations and copy everything I have changed or added to a drive on our server every night. It would be better if I could automate this though.

I am currently running XP32 bit because our IT guys thought that our stock system didn't work on 64bit but our cnc machinist is running it on 64 bit so there's no problems there.

I have a Win7 license and will upgrade to 64bit. Also want to ghost the drives and have 2 partitions (one for windows/programs, one for data). Not sure what program to use for this though. Norton ghost?

If anyone has been through this recently, any advice would be great. I've done my home pc's a few times but have to make sure this one is done 100% on the level, so there are no hiccups.
