I had inserted from toolbox part as envelope
and used linear pattern but created parts were
not enveloped but normal.
Is there solution to that?
This may be happening because of the Toolbox flag still being on the part (you can tell the flag is still on since the screw has the Toolbox bolt icon shown in the Feature Manager) even though you made it into an envelope. Try using sldsetdocprop.exe in your install directory sub-folder "SolidWorks\Toolbox\data utilities". Setting "Property State" to No will remove the flag. I've not done this on envelope parts so I'm not sure if you have to remove the flag before you make it an envelope or if it can be done after. Once you remove the flag, go ahead and pattern the bolt and I think you should get a pattern of envelopes.
can you explain your problem by some snap shots??
I want patterned parts also being enveloped.
Plz Upload A Example In a Zip Folder So that I Can Provide u solution..
thanks for wide explanation
I wish I would operate these ''envelope-toolbox '' painless .
Jody - I just tried this with a normal part: i.e. a pattern of an Envelope part (not Toolbox part) and the pattern contains 'normal' parts with no Envelope functionality. I can't think why one would need a pattern of Envelope parts so is this a bug or lack of foresight?
